Please feel welcome to join in our discussions, register a username on the forums, and generally get to know everyone. We're quite open to visitors!

If you like what we're here for, and would like to officially join Honorable Players, then we do ask that you play with current HP members, and develop a rapport. Membership to HP is on a sponsorship basis - 3 members in current standing are required to vouch for a new member.

Membership candidates are then reviewed for a month, and identified as candidates within our Web forums. Accepted candidates are then granted the forum title "Honorable Player", and added to the membership rolls.

We do require that potential members show a certain level of maturity in their interaction with others; Honorable Players was founded on respect, and we find that those who cannot show maturity, generally do not show respect.

Here is our formal membership policy:

1. New Membership candidates must be sponsored by at least three (3) current members.
2. Sponsored membership candidates will be identified in the Forums by the Forum title "Candidate".
3. The sponsorship period is one (1) month, minumum; if necessary, this will be extended.
4. New membership candidates should confirm to a Council member that they do, indeed, wish to be members.
5. Accepted members have the Forum title "Honorable Player".
6. Honorable Players asks that all members demonstrate an adult maturity in their interaction with others.
7. All discussion on candidates, by HP members, should occur in the "HP Business" forum, for privacy.
8. All discussion on candidates will be removed (deleted) before a candidate is accepted, for privacy.
9. Council members should ensure that all new candidates and accepted members are noted in a News article.
